Designed for Marketplace Providers, this webinar will provide and new path for marketplace players to better support IEP development, usage and communication needs in the education marketplace.  As you know, IEP’s are critical for learners and the practitioners who provide their learning opportunities including parents – and it’s the law.

Three years ago, the Access 4 Learning (A4L) Community undertook the challenge to gather experts in IEP development and usage, and link them to application vendors to create a freely available and standardized IEP that could address some IEP challenges:

  • Learner mobility and IEP information moving with them
  • Challenges in creation and presentation of information from numerous sources plus current paper and pencil dependence
  • Changing from one system to another and proprietary “hooks” in applications

As a result of this effort, the A4L Community are delighted to provide this webinar showcasing the developments which enable marketplace providers to develop better tools for learners in IEP development, management and communication.  This work is directly linked to Common Education Data Model (CEDS) work lead by the US Department of Education. Now it's up to the marketplace to demand more to meet end user needs!

Presentation slides will be made available to all attendees.  This session is focused on standardized IEP impacts/development opportunities for vendors.  Please pass this invite along to others you think might benefit from the information.  An initial webinar for End Users is scheduled on February 14, 2018.
